Hello uae,

I've been entertaining a  move to the UAE but I need more information. I work in the non-profit sector and would like to know what kind of prospects exist there in terms of jobs in that filed.

I'm looking specifically for global or western-based organizations who have offices in the UAE (such as the UN, Amnesty International etc...).

Polar Bear is a cat we rescued about a month ago, after we found him in front of our building begging for food. He is vaccinated, fixed, and tagged, and ready to be adopted into a loving home.



He is eight or nine months old, but he's huge! I think he might get bigger. He has soft fur and a cute pink nose and cute pink ears (though his pretty face, sadly, has been scratched by our Cyrus kitty, who hates him). The vet told us he is an "Arabian Mau," a "de facto" pure breed indigenous to the UAE for 1,000 years.

hi.. im b, 21y/o from the philippines.
but will be moving in dubai next week. i've been to dubai a couple of times before and this will be my comeback..
im not really sure if thats a good thing though. i know that the uae is notorious for blocking websites.. and since uae has an lj.. (stupid question coming up..) does this mean lj isn't included in this. i hope not. I REALLY HOPE NOT since this would be my access for arashi goodness. any ARASHI fans around?
